Through out all my papers I have essentially talked about how emerging adulthood is a bad thing and should not be turned into an age group and that technology affecting focus and attention is not a problem. I strongly believed in both these views but for this final paper, I decided to instead go with the opposite view. In this paper I have decided to argue that technology is being used as a tool for social segregating ourselves. I’m having a little bit of trouble with getting my thesis worked out but I think it is going really well. My Podcast was really entertaining to do because of the view that Professor Crouse had on becoming and adult. Being an anthropologist, she had a much more broad view on adulthood and therefore a much more interesting to listen to. She had the same view that most adults seemed to think, that she does not feel like an adult nor does she think she was prepared for the role that she was forced to take. Sadly, I could not use any of my podcast for my final paper because it did not pertain to what I was talking about in my paper.
